Park Inn by Radisson Berlin-Alexanderplatz

Just returned from a trip to Berlin. I have stayed at other hotels in the city including the Radisson SAS and have to rank the The Park Inn right up there among the best in the city. I like the simple setup of the room with every amenity I needed. From the high-speed internet connection at my desk to the stocked mini bar and LCD tv; the room was very nice. The convenience of the hotel was another big factor. Being in Alexanderplatz, there were no shortages of restaurants to choose from. Berlin is a great walking city, but has so many public transportation options and several depart right next to the Park Inn. I will stay at the Park Inn again when I visit Berlin. I did not have to pay as much as I did to stay at other hotels in Berlin without sacrificing any of the luxury or convenience.

My only complaint about the hotel is that the lobby tends to get filled quickly with bus loads of travelers so sometimes it makes it difficult navigating yourself to the room elevators

It was extremely easy to get to from the Berlin Tegel airport. I jumped on the TXL bus outside of the main terminal and the bus stops right next to the hotel at Alexanderplatz. I chose the bus because I had some extra time and it offered me more views of the city instead of a direct taxi ride. The bus ride only costs 5 euro roundtrip. I highly recommend taking the bus to get downtown from the airport.
