The Sindbad

We have been so surprise, to have found such a kind of Hotel after your descriptions on Ab-in-den-Urlaub! It was the first time to trust on line comments, more then the travel agencies, and it will be also the last one! This Hotel is old and not all recently restructurated as it was promised. The new parts were only some rooms, ca. 10 plus the Suites, and the Restaurant Buffet. The beach is also situated in a gulf, which is nice when the weather is fine, but if it is a bit windy then you will find a lot of rubbish in the water see, coming from the 2 Medinas. The Hotel is situated in the old part of Hammamet, the old Medina is close - 30 minutes by walking -, but just out of the Hotel there is nothing, noway to have a nice small walk with a a 3/4 years old child!

The rooms are big, but we have found insect even in the bed, so we have change the room, and then in the second one, the water was coming out from the toilett and from the fridge and the aircondition system was bringing a stink of toilett inside.

The personal service is ok, always better after some trinkgeld.

The food is not bad, but certainly doens´t deserve 5 points!

The Hotel is situated in the old part of Hammamet, the old Medina is close - 30 minutes by walking -, but just out of the Hotel there is nothing, noway to have a nice small walk with a a 3/4 years old child!

The beach is small and not very clean, a lot of sigarettes and other stuff were in the sand. The beach beds are big, but they have very old mattresses and unbelievable small and old towels even with holes! The swimmingpools, already very small and unconfortable, were so dirty that we coudn´t use them for 5 days and, only after daily strong reclamations, they had cleaned them. Sports facilities are very poor or not existing at all. The only jacuzzi is available only by payment.

We have been very deluded, this Hotel certainly doesn´t deserve 4,5-5 stars, may be only by the costs! Never again!!!!
